Job summary

ONE Gas, Inc. in Tulsa, OK, is seeking a Pipeline Safety Compliance Specialist to plan, conduct, and document Tier 1 and 2 reviews of core pipeline safety programs, ensuring compliance with DOT, state regulations, and company policies.

You will identify risks, draft corrective actions, write detailed audit reports, and collaborate with operations and regulatory partners to strengthen program effectiveness, with travel to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, technology, physical science or related field.
• 2–4 years of relevant professional experience; minimum 1 year.
• Experience in audit, compliance, operations and/or regulatory environments.
• Experience with pipeline safety inspection and auditing programs.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
• Fluent reading/writing in English.
• Valid driver’s license; travel to sites.
• Knowledge of DOT/state/federal pipeline regulations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, conduct and document Tier 1 and Tier 2 reviews of core pipeline safety programs.
• Identify gaps and draft corrective actions with program owners.
• Write audit reports with findings and recommendations.
• Support responses to regulatory inquiries and notices.
• Research and interpret pipeline safety rules and regulations.
• Interview employees to document risks and controls.
• Travel to office facilities and job sites as required.
