Plains is seeking a Pipeline Operator to operate and maintain pipeline assets, ensuring safe transportation and storage of products across its U.S. network. The role requires reading manuals, assessing operations, and coordinating with the Control Center and carriers.

Applicants should have a high school diploma, pipeline knowledge, math skills, a valid driver’s license, and Haz-Mat/DOT readiness. This is a field-based position with potential on-call duties and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Pipeline knowledge and ability to manage pump station and crude shipments.
• Ability to read technical manuals and perform basic math.
• Valid driver's license and English proficiency.
• Haz-Mat training and DOT requirements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee petroleum product movements in pipeline pump stations.
• Inspect pumps and valves for proper operation.
• Perform monthly DOT tankage and fire extinguisher inspections.
• Maintain records and compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with control center, carriers and customers.
• Witness meter proving and crude oil shipments as needed.
• Support on-call rotation and travel as required.
