Plains is seeking a Pipeline Operator responsible for operating and maintaining pipeline assets to ensure safe transport and storage of crude oil and products. The role involves inspecting pumps, valves, and security, performing quality measurements, and maintaining records in alignment with Plains procedures.

The position requires coordination with the Pipeline Control Center and may involve meter proving and pig runs as needed, with additional pipeline tasks assigned by the Operations

Responsabilités

• Operate and maintain pipeline assets and facilities to ensure safe transportation and storage of products.
• Inspect pumps and valves for proper operation and perform quality/quantity measurements per Plains procedures.
• Conduct monthly DOT tankage inspections, fire extinguisher checks, and maintain records.
• Inspect perimeter fencing and security measures and report infractions.
• Ensure routine and DOT compliance maintenance on ROW, equipment and valves.
• Maintain communications with Pipeline Control Center and witness meter proving when required.
• Collaborate on additional pipeline-related tasks as directed by Operations Supervisor.
