Job summary

Plains is seeking a Pipeline Operator to operate and maintain identified pipeline assets and facilities for safe transportation and storage of products. You will inspect pumps, valves, and meters, perform required inspections, and ensure accurate quality and quantity measurements per Plains procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have pipeline knowledge and ability to manage pump station, pipeline and lease crude oil shipping responsibilities.
• Basic math and computer/PC skills.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Must possess or obtain operator qualifications as deemed by the Operations Supervisor and complete Haz‑Mat training, safety programs and meet minimum D.O.T. requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain pipelines, tanks, pumping stations, LACTs and gathering facilities for safe transportation and storage of products.
• Inspect pumps/valves for proper operation and ensure accurate quality/quantity measurement of crude oil.
• Perform monthly DOT tankage inspections and maintain related records.
• Support compliance with ROW security, DOT requirements, and company safety policies.
• Coordinate fuel movements and assist with batch scheduling as needed.
