Job summary

Kinder Morgan, Inc. is seeking a Pipeline Specialist to coordinate and complete pipeline operations and maintenance tasks across multiple teams. The role focuses on safety, compliance, and efficient execution of projects in a demanding field environment.

Responsibilities include valve and pigging tasks, excavation coordination, and working with contractors to ensure DOT and company standards are met. A CDL and mechanical aptitude are required.

Qualifications

• Must follow safety, environmental and regulatory policies for safe work.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret company policies, O&M manuals and blueprints.
• Requires CDL license and driving record acceptable to the company.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and complete pipeline operations and maintenance tasks across multiple disciplines.
• Assist with hot tapping, valve maintenance, pigging, hydrostatic tests and leak surveys.
• Lead or train others, oversee contractors and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mobilize and operate heavy excavation equipment and transport project materials.
• Prepare plans for pigging, calibrate detectors, and perform pressure tests.
• Interact with contractors and vendors as a company representative.
• Maintain timesheets, expense reports and company vehicle usage.
