Qualifications

• Must follow all safety, environmental and regulatory policies.
• Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance procedures.
• Ability to operate heavy pipeline excavation equipment including large trucks.
• Ability to read and interpret policies, O&M manuals and blueprints.
• Ability to respond to emergencies or after-hours calls.
• Good communication skills with others.
• Basic math skills.
• Lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs and exert up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with hot tapping and stopple equipment, valve maintenance, pigging operations, pipe cleaning, hydrostatic testing and leak surveys.
• Operate excavation equipment to support pipeline work and ensure safety.
• Perform excavation spotter tasks and manage excavations crossings.
• Launch, monitor and receive pipeline pigs and develop pigging plans.
• Repair and maintain pipelines and assess integrity.
