Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Pipeline Technician to maintain and operate refined product pipelines, crude oil pipelines, pump stations and related equipment at our Beaumont area facilities.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair pumps, valves, motors, and control systems, document maintenance activities, and participate in safety programs. Must possess a high school diploma and valid driver's license, with 2–4 years in pipeline maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• VoTech certificate or Associate degree or related work experience preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience with operation and maintenance of a refined pipeline facility.
• Knowledge of compressors, pumps, regulators, MOVs, electronic controls and related equipment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Strong safety mindset and ability to work overtime and on-call.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and operate refined product pipelines, crude oil pipelines, pump stations and related equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair and replace mechanical equipment to ensure safety and reliability.
• Complete records of maintenance activity and regulatory reports.
• Respond to operational emergencies as part of the area emergency response team.
• Work indoors and outdoors in industrial settings and in temperature extremes.
