Enterprise Products Partners L.P. seeks an entry-level Pipeline Operations professional in Beaumont, TX.

You will rotate to a location for orientation and training for 9–24 months before advancing to a Pipeline Technician role, with hands-on work in maintaining pumps, motors, valves, and performing inspections. The role involves regulatory compliance, writing permits for field projects, pig launch/receiving, and adherence to environmental regulations and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• VoTech certificate or Associate's degree, or related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the general design and operation of a liquid or gas pipeline.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
• At least 2 years mechanical maintenance experience with troubleshooting in pipeline facilities preferred.
• Experience with industry maintenance and repair standards preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete orientation/training for 9–24 months toward Pipeline Technician role.
• Maintain and repair pumps, motors, and valves.
• Perform regulatory inspections as directed.
• Assist with launching/receiving cleaning pigs and smart pigs.
• Prepare permits for field engineering and capital projects.
• Follow environmental regulations and company policies.
• Meet Operator Qualification Program requirements and stay compliant.
• Participate in ongoing training, including computer-based training.
• Attend safety meetings and safety trainings as required.

• Be assigned to a location within the Company to undergo orientation and training for a period that is normally 9-24 months in preparation for a future Pipeline Technician (Mechanic) position.
• Maintains and repairs pumps, motors, and valves.
• Performs regulatory inspections and other duties assigned by their Supervisor.
• Launches and receives cleaning pigs and assist with the launch and receiving of smart pigs.
• The Pipeline Technician writes permits for field engineering and capital projects.
• Knowledgeable of environmental regulations and Company policies.
• Meet requirements of Company Operator Qualification Program, perform identified covered tasks and remain compliant.
• Attend training programs on a continuing basis; including computer-based training.
• Attend all safety meetings and safety training courses as required by Company and regulatory agencies.

What Your Background Should Look Like (minimum Qualifications)

• A minimum of a high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• VoTech certificate or Associate's degree, or related work experience is preferred.
• Must have knowledge of the general design and operation of a liquid or gas pipeline.
• A valid driver's license with acceptable driving record is required.
• A minimum of 2 years mechanical maintenance experience with troubleshooting capability in operations, maintenance, and/or construction of a hazardous liquid or gas pipeline facility, or a similar facility/system is preferred.
• Experience and knowledge of industry related maintenance and repair standards is preferred.
