Job summary

MVP Holdings in Electra, TX is seeking a hardworking Mechanic to join our energy logistics team. This role focuses on preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pipeline mechanical equipment across facilities, with opportunities to grow technical skills.

You will inspect, diagnose, repair mechanical systems, install and test components, and maintain records, while complying with safety regulations and company policies in a fast-paced field environment.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Requires a valid Driver’s License.
• 1+ year of direct oil field experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Operator Qualifications and safety certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pipeline mechanical equipment.
• Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems at pipeline facilities, compressor stations, and other assets.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment deficiencies, leaks, wear, and issues.
• Install, replace, align, and test mechanical components including bearings, seals, couplings, belts, motors, valves, and piping assemblies.
• Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection documentation accurately.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and notify supervision of replenishment needs.
• Work collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, and contractor personnel to support safe pipeline operations.
• Ensure all work complies with company policies, OSHA regulations, DOT/PHMSA, and environmental requirements.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment with a strong safety culture.
