Job summary

Enterprise Products Partners L.P. is seeking a Pipeline Technician to maintain and operate pipeline assets, including valve manifolds, pig launchers/receivers, and custody transfer facilities.

The role emphasizes preventive and remedial maintenance, safety, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, relevant technical training, and mechanical/electrical maintenance experience in pipeline environments.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a high school diploma or GED required.
• VoTech certificate or associate degree in Electrical/Electronic or Instrumentation, Oil & Gas field or related experience preferred.
• Must have knowledge of design and operation of a liquid or gas pipeline.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record required.
• 2 years electrical maintenance experience with troubleshooting in pipeline facilities preferred.
• Knowledge of motor control centers, centrifugal pumps, regulators, MOVs, and electrical voltage in hazardous liquid pipelines preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot and repair instrumentation, valves and electrical systems up to 4160V.
• Maintain custody transfer measurement facilities and perform product quality tests.
• Perform routine maintenance of pumps and electric motors including bearings, seals, alignments and couplings.
• Maintain other mechanical equipment such as valves and air compressors.
• Assist with replacement of pumps, motors and valves including startup and alignment.
• Coordinate with Area Supervisor on maintenance issues to minimize downtime.
