Job summary

Kinder Morgan is seeking a Risk Engineer to develop and implement the pipeline Integrity Management Program (IMP) for Part 192 pipelines and facilities. You will perform risk analysis, support integrity programs, and lead improvements with Field Integrity Services, IT, and engineering teams.

This role reports to the Manager of Risk Engineering and will require coordination across multiple groups. Position level and pay will be determined by experience and skill.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience considered.
• Experience with pipeline integrity datasets (in-line inspection, pressure tests, direct assessment).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute Integrity Management Program requirements for HCAs and gathering pipelines.
• Run risk models, manage data collection, review results and support program improvements.
• Develop and maintain long-term ILI and integrity assessment plans and budgets.
• Provide training and support to relevant groups across the company.
• Lead collaborations with SMEs and stakeholders for threats and improvements.
• Represent the company in regulatory interactions as needed.
