Job summary

Tallgrass is seeking a Pipeline Project Engineer to manage pipeline integrity and O&M projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal standards. You will lead planning, scheduling, budgeting, and contractor coordination for capital and maintenance initiatives across sites.

Ideal candidates have 2–6 years in engineering, strong MS Office skills, and experience with pipelines, GIS, and blueprints.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Engineering.
• A minimum of 2-6 years experience in engineering.
• Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications that may include but are not limited to Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, scheduling, management, and reporting of capital and maintenance projects.
• Develop project scope documents and manage scope changes.
• Manage multiple contractors and consultants.
• Engine­er pipeline and facility designs for small projects.
• Oversight and engineering of pipeline defect assessments and repairs.
• Develop project schedules, cost estimates and budgets.
• Develop RFP bid documents and conduct bid analysis.
• Provide technical guidance on codes and regulations and support field operations.
