Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Construction Technician in the Sugar Grove area to support pipeline construction and maintenance. The role emphasizes safe work habits and independent execution of tasks in a construction environment, with frequent travel (75%) and eligibility for overtime pay.

Responsibilities include handling materials, operating power tools, reviewing engineering data, and maintaining project records while coordinating with crew leaders and planners as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4+ years of work experience in a mechanical related environment.
• CDL license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Pipeline or construction industry experience.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, and unload materials for projects.
• Operate power tools such as drills, grinders, torches, etc.
• Gather MTRs for materials applicable to a project.
• Perform red line reviews/FMRs with internal/external engineering as needed.
• Assist with ordering welding consumables and manage inventory of coating materials.
• Operate equipment to off-load trucks and maintain certification logs.
• Document project records and assist with documentation and procedures.
