Job summary

TC Energy seeks a Construction Technician to support pipeline construction and maintenance in Sugar Grove, Ohio. The role requires heavy travel (75%), overtime eligibility, and a strong focus on safety and compliance across pipeline projects.

Responsibilities include material handling, tool operation, inventory management, and coordination with engineering and planning teams. CDL preferred; SAP experience beneficial.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 4+ years of mechanical-related experience.
• CDL license preferred or ability to obtain.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ship, receive, and unload materials for projects.
• Operate power tools such as drills and grinders.
• Gather MTRs for materials applicable to projects.
• Perform red line reviews with internal/external engineering as needed.
• Assist with ordering welding consumables and manage inventory.
• Operate equipment needed to off-load trucks and track logs.
• Oversee small equipment certification logs and compliance.
• Catalog project record binders for all projects.
• Assist crew leader with documentation, qualifications, and procedures.
• Support constructability reviews, safety, and compliance for projects.
• Cross-train with project planner and assist with quotations.
