Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Construction Coordinator to plan and schedule internal construction teams, estimate costs, and manage procurement and financial tracking. You’ll work as a key link between project management and construction services to ensure a seamless lifecycle from front-end planning to closeout, while upholding safety and quality in pipeline integrity projects.

The role requires strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills, with experience in SAP and Excel.

Qualifications

• Technical school graduation, Associate’s degree, or equivalent
• 5 years of pipeline or related construction experience
• Experience in project management and/or work planning and scheduling
• Working knowledge with SAP and Excel for planning and tracking
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to interact across all levels of the organization
• Capability to handle shifting priorities and multiple projects
• Independent initiative with sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Develop short and long-term schedules and work plans
• Provide bottoms-up cost estimates from design reviews
• Liaise with Project Management to set construction requirements
• Manage project financials: PO maintenance, invoicing, forecasting
• Coordinate with Regional Field Work Planners for outages/operations support
• Provide logistics support to construction crews and external vendors
• Arrange third-party contractors and suppliers as needed
• Assist Construction Services Manager in monitoring activities and metrics
• Assist cost performance tracking and forecasting
• Coordinate fleet, driver and equipment files including inspections
• Assist with capital equipment and tool purchases
• Coordinate training for Construction Services team
• Conduct site visits and travel to field locations
