Job summary

Faith Technologies, Inc. in Opelika, AL is seeking a Pipe Fitter / Welder to fit, fabricate and assemble piping systems using stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel in a modern fabrication shop. You will TIG/MIG weld, read isometrics and BIM fabrication drawings, and support ongoing prefabricated assemblies delivered to the field.

Qualifications

• HS or GED required; welding certs are a plus.
• 3+ years experience fitting, fabricating and welding piping systems.
• Experience reading isometrics, spool drawings and BIM fabrication drawings.

Responsibilities

• Fit, fabricate, and assemble piping systems using stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel.
• Perform TIG welding, MIG welding, and copper brazing in accordance with shop procedures and standards.
• Read and interpret piping isometrics, spool drawings, and BIM fabrication drawings.
• Layout, measure, cut, and assemble pipe spools and mechanical assemblies with precision.
• Operate modern shop equipment including welding machines, pipe positioners, CNC pipe processing equipment.
