Job summary

Faith Technologies in Indiana is seeking a skilled Pipe Fitter / Welder to join our shop-based fabrication team. You will fit, weld, and assemble piping systems using stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel, reading isometrics and BIM drawings to ensure precision.

You’ll work 6 am–6 pm, Monday–Friday, with 0–25% travel. Expect modern equipment, a clean shop, and opportunities for growth in a leading mechanical fabrication operation in North America.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Welding certifications (AWS/ASME) are a plus.
• 3+ years experience fitting, fabricating, and welding piping systems.

Responsibilities

• Fit, fabricate, and assemble piping systems using stainless steel, copper, and carbon steel.
• Perform TIG welding, MIG welding, and copper brazing in accordance with shop procedures.
• Read and interpret piping isometrics, spool drawings, and BIM-generated fabrication drawings.
• Layout, measure, cut, prep, and assemble pipe spools and mechanical assemblies.
• Operate welding machines, pipe positioners, automated saws, and CNC pipe processing equipment.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, isometrics, and spool sheets to plan work accurately.
• Lay out, measure, cut, and assemble piping systems and mechanical components.
• Prepare pipe joints through beveling, cleaning, alignment, and fit-up.
• Perform TIG, MIG, stick welding, and brazing per procedures and standards.
• Operate shop equipment like grinders, beveling tools, and CNC pipe profiling machines.
• Maintain quality with fabrication tolerances and project specs.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized work area.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
