Job summary

MGC Contractors, Inc. seeks a Pipefitter for our Utah Division in the Eagle Mountain area. The role requires reading blueprints, laying out piping and equipment such as clarifiers and aeration systems, and ensuring safe on-site operations.

Minimum qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED and at least five years of piping/equipment installation experience on water/wastewater projects. This is a full-time, on-site position with potential overtime.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Review and comprehend blueprint drawings and specifications.
Lay out large and small diameter piping and equipment (Clarifier, Filters, Chemical Rooms, Aeration Basin System, Influent Fine Screens, Pumps).
Help monitor safety for all on-site personnel and subcontractors.
Assist the Project Superintendent in monitoring project labor.
Understand equipment installation, alignment, and anchoring processes.
Knowledge of crane rigging and signaling.
