Job summary

PaperWorks is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead our pipefitter crew and drive safe, reliable maintenance operations. You will assign daily and weekly work, coach and develop your team, and ensure maintenance activities are completed on time and to standard.

The role requires welding experience, strong PM/PdM, FMEA and CMMS proficiency, and the ability to read blueprints and engineering documents while building strong relationships with union and management teams.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of maintenance experience in electrical, mechanical, or fluid systems.
• Welding experience/certifications.
• Strong PM/PdM, FMEA, and CMMS experience.
• Ability to read blueprints, technical plans, and engineering documents.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise pipefitter crews in daily and scheduled maintenance.
• Ensure safe work practices, hazard identification, and housekeeping standards.
• Provide technical guidance on repairs, equipment rebuilds.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Coordinate schedules with other maintenance disciplines.
• Monitor job progress and approve completed work.
• Maintain preventive maintenance programs and support major equipment evaluations.
• Ensure parts, tools, and materials are available for planned work.
• Build strong relationships with union and management teams.

In this role, you’ll assign daily and weekly work, coach and develop your team, support RCM practices, and ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, on time, and to standard.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• High school diploma or GED; technical training or degree preferred
• 5-10 years of maintenance experience (electrical, mechanical, or fluid systems)

• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, tools, and maintenance techniques
• Ability to read blueprints, technical plans, and engineering documents
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills
