Job summary

Trillium Construction seeks experienced pipe welders for an industrial power plant project in Florida. You will TIG-weld Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe in an industrial setting, with a 50-hour workweek and a pay rate of $30–$33 per hour plus per diem for eligible days.

Project runs from October 19 through November 16, requiring weld tests in the 6G position and compliance with PPE and pre-employment screenings. Per diem is $90 per day for qualifying days.

Job description

Trillium Construction is now seeking experienced Pipe Welders for an industrial power plant project starting October 19th!

Candidates will be responsible for TIG welding Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe in an industrial setting.

This project is scheduled to run from October 19th through November 16th, with work Monday through Friday for approximately 50 hours per week. Pay is $30–$33 per hour, depending on experience, plus $90 per day in per diem for each day worked for those who qualify.

• Applicants must have previous industrial pipe welding experience and be comfortable completing weld tests in the 6G position.
• Candidates must successfully pass two weld tests: a 2-inch “monster coupon” requiring a TIG root and TIG hot pass, followed by E7018 stick-welded fill and cap, and a separate 2-inch Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe test using TIG welding. Both tests will be performed in the 6G position.
• Candidates must provide their own basic hand tools and wear standard PPE, including a harness, as working at heights will be required.
• All candidates must successfully pass pre-employment screenings.
