Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years verifiable experience preferred.
• Underground pipe experience preferred.
• Experience with piping systems and fixtures; knowledge of lengths and construction measurements.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Ability to comply with safety policies and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Must stand, bend, kneel or sit for long periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and installs piping and tubing systems for water, steam, air, and other fluids.
• Installs vacuum piping systems, drainage and sewage lines from buildings to connection points.
• Moves materials and equipment to be used by plumbers and pipefitters.
