Job summary

The Walsh Group, Ltd. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the 224178 - Signal Mountain WWTP Phase 2 project in Signal Mountain, TN. Primary function is to operate a variety of heavy equipment at the site and assist with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

3–5 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may be required to work in adverse weather conditions.
Requires ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure projects are completed properly.
Possess a strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

Operates a variety of heavy equipment to complete tasks such as clearing land, moving materials, and transporting dirt and rocks.
Must have knowledge of operating procedures related to loading and unloading materials.
May perform routine maintenance and inspections, and complete required paperwork.
May assist with other related duties as required.
Work may involve exposure to loud noise and varying weather conditions.
