Job summary

The Walsh Group's Archer Western division is seeking a Common Laborer for the Signal Mountain WWTP Phase 2 project in Signal Mountain, TN. This hands-on role supports construction crews through physical labor and site preparation tasks.

You will operate basic hand and power tools, assist with loading materials, and help keep the site safe and organized. This entry‑level position provides practical construction experience across our nationwide divisions.

Qualifications

• 1 year verifiable construction experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather.
• Capable of climbing scaffolds/ladders.
• Comply with safety policies and communicate well with team.
• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
• Good manual dexterity; may stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
• Able to pass pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical labor on construction sites as directed.
• Operate hand and power tools (drills, hammers, etc.).
• Clean and prepare sites; install scaffolding; manage debris.
• Load and unload materials around the site.
