Job summary

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for the 224178 - Signal Mountain WWTP Phase 2 (Construction) project in Signal Mountain, TN. The role primarily operates a variety of heavy equipment at the site to construct, maintain, or repair infrastructure in accordance with safety policies and procedures.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of operating experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of operating experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; may work in adverse weather.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures; communicate effectively with co-workers and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Operates a variety of Equipment to clear land, move materials, and transport dirt, rocks, and aggregates.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks; complete paperwork as required.
• Follow loading/unloading procedures and adhere to safety standards.
