Job summary

TekWissen LLC seeks a Pipefitter I in Novi, MI for a two-month, onsite assignment. You will perform pipe fitting activities in a machine tool manufacturing environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities include reading schematics and BOMs, building headers, threading and installing pipes, service stands, lockout valves, and related pipe tooling. Candidates must handle hand tools and power tools safely to meet customer specifications.

Qualifications

• Experienced performing activities in a machine tool manufacturing environment.
• Able to read schematic drawings and mechanical drawings.
• Skilled in building headers, threading pipes, and installing headers.
• Capable of installing service stands, lockout valves, and pipe robots.
• Proficient with pipe sealing equipment and hand tools.
• Familiar with reading BOMs and preparing valve packs.

Responsibilities

• Read schematic drawings and mechanical drawings to guide work.
• Build headers and install headers and service stands.
• Thread pipes and dress hoses per customer requirements.
• Operate pipe tools and hand power tools safely.
• Prepare valve packs and manifolds for assembly.
• Inspect fittings and ensure lockout valves are properly installed.
