Job summary

Lee Industrial Contracting in Pontiac, Michigan is seeking an experienced pipefitter for on-site work. You will measure, cut, bend and assemble pipe and tubing to exact specifications while following safety and building codes.

Responsibilities include brazing, soldering, installing valves and repairing leaks on industrial piping systems. The role requires a minimum of 5 years in industrial pipefitting, ability to read pipe drawings, and the skill to work with measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Industrial pipefitting experience.
• Must be able to read, comprehend, and interpret pipe drawings.
• Must have the ability to read and interpret a written scope of work.
• Perform basic mathematical computations and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, and bend pipe and tubing to required lengths and angles.
• Copper brazing and soldering.
• Thread and assemble pipe sections and fittings.
• Install valves, hangers, supports and flanges per plans.
• Repair leaks and ensure piping systems meet specs and codes.
• Train and develop apprentices and coordinate with materials and labor.
