Austin Industrial, Inc. is seeking an experienced NCCER Pipefitter based in Houston, TX.

This position requires a Valid Driver's License & TWIC Card. Must know TWIC PIN# and be able to start ASAP.

This is an ongoing job working 5x10's+ OT.

Pipefitter Responsibilities

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems, supports, and related equipment for various industrial systems.
• Cut, thread, and assemble pipes using appropriate tools.
• Attach pipes to structures and fixtures, and install controls and valves.
• Modify, clean, and maintain pipe systems and related equipment.
• Inspect work sites and operate pumps as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

Employees must be able to sit, handle, reach, stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, taste, and smell. Must lift up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds frequently. Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment.

Qualifications

• No minimum education required.
• 3-5 years of Journeyman level experience.
• Legal ability to work in the U.S.; no sponsorship available.
• Valid Driver's License & TWIC Card (know PIN# before onsite).
