Optimized Process Designs (OPD) in Texas, part of Koch Engineered Solutions, is hiring a Pipefitter Helper at the Mont Belvieu site. You will assist pipefitters with setting, assembling, and installing pipe, prepare pipe and fittings, and operate various tools.

This role requires safety awareness, ability to work outdoors in extreme weather, lifting up to 60 lbs, and willingness to travel. Prior industrial experience and familiarity with pipe fittings and metals are a plus.

Qualificações

• 6 months minimum experience in an industrial environment.
• Past exposure to different metals and knowledge of pipe fittings, bolts and valves.

Responsabilidades

• Assist pipefitter with setting, assembling, and installing pipe.
• Prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting and rigging.
• Operate beveling machines, cut-off grinders, torches and welding equipment.
• Maintain clean work area and restock materials as needed.
• Follow safety policies and participate in safety meetings.
