Optimized Process Designs LLC (OPD) in Katy, TX is hiring a Pipefitter Helper for the Carthage, TX jobsite. You will assist pipefitters with setting, assembling, and installing pipe and prepare fittings for hoisting, while learning about different metals and valves.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and readiness for long shifts in outdoor environments. Travel and extended time away from home are required, with a focus on reliable on-site performance.

Formación

• 6 months previous experience in an industrial environment.
• Familiar with pipe fittings, bolts, valves, and different metals.
• Willing to travel and stay away from home for long periods.
• Able to work up to 12 hours per day and 7 days per week.
• Attend mandatory safety meetings and follow safety policies.
• Able to work in outdoor conditions and use required tools.

Responsabilidades

• Assisting pipefitter with setting, assembling, and installing pipe.
• Prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting and rigging.
• Locate and mark bending and cutting lines of metal.
• Operate tools and equipment such as beveling machines, grinders, torches, and welding machines.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area and restock supplies.
