Optimized Process Designs (OPD), a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is hiring a Pipefitter Helper in Carthage, TX. You will assist pipefitters with setting, assembling, and installing pipe, prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting, and work with a variety of hand and power tools in a heavy industrial environment.

The role requires at least 6 months of industrial experience, willingness to travel, and ability to meet physical demands. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 6 months industrial experience.
• Knowledge of pipe fittings, bolts, valves, etc.
• Willing to travel and work extended shifts.
• Ability to meet physical demands and attend safety meetings.

Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitter with setting, assembling, and installing pipe.
• Prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting and rigging.
• Operate beveling machines, grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, welding machines, and Saw-Zall.
• Maintain clean work area and restock supplies as necessary.
• Work safely and as part of a team environment.
