Optimized Process Designs (OPD) is hiring a Pipefitter for field work at the Carthage, TX site. The role requires reading drawings, preparing isometrics, and installing piping to project specs.

You will bolt, clamp, and tack-weld components, assemble pipes and fittings, and use welding tools to meet precise tolerances. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and strong physical capability to handle long shifts in outdoor environments.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pipefitter is required or preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
• Willingness to travel and work long shifts in remote locations.

Responsibilities

• Read drawings, take measurements, and install piping per specifications.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to position for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes and fittings, welding and threading joints as required.
• Operate tools such as beveling machines, grinders, torches, and welding equipment.
• Maintain safety and follow site policies.
