Job summary

Optimized Process Designs, LLC (OPD) seeks a Pipefitter Helper to support on a Galena Park, TX project site. You will assist with setting, assembling and installing pipe, while keeping work areas safe, organized and compliant with client policies.

Candidates should have at least 6 months in an industrial environment and familiarity with different metals, fittings, bolts and valves. Reliable attendance is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months prior experience in an industrial environment.
• Past exposure to different metals and knowledge of pipe fittings, bolts, valves, etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist pipefitter with setting, assembling and installing pipe.
• Prepare pipe and fittings for hoisting and rigging.
• Operate tools and equipment including beveling machines, cut-off grinders, hammers, torches, magnetic drills, welding machines, and a Saw‑Zall.
• Work safely and participate in onsite safety meetings.
• Maintain a clean work area and restock supplies as necessary.
