Job summary

Sundt Construction in Alabama is seeking a seasoned pipefitter to plan, lay out and execute pipe fitting and fabrication per project drawings and standards. You will work with other trades as needed, following direction from supervisors to maintain safety and quality.

Required is strong reading of drawings, 3–6+ years in the pipefitting trade, and solid communication skills to coordinate with crew and supervisors on complex tasks.

Qualifications

• Read and understand drawings, specs and safety standards.
• Proven pipefitting experience at levels I–Sr as requested.
• Clear verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform pipe fitting and fabrication per plans.
• Mentor others and share knowledge on site.
• Inspect subordinates’ work for accuracy and safety.
• Identify improvements and maintain positive crew relations.
• Ensure materials, tools, and information are available for tasks.
