Job summary

Candidates should be able to take direction from a foreman and senior craftspeople. Minimum requirements include several years of pipefitting experience and strong math, communication, and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Must read and understand drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Minimum years of experience by level: 3 (I), 4 (II), 5 (III), 6+ (Sr).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Share knowledge and teach others.
• Eliminate waste in processes (waiting, rework, transport, storage, time).
• High proficiency in trade mathematics.
• Inspect subordinates' work, ensure accuracy and compliance with plans/specs, explain deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Look for improvements and be willing to learn from others.
• Maintain positive working relationships with the crew.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Produce high quality work, safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment and information are available.
