Job summary

Sundt Enterprise is seeking a skilled pipefitter for industrial and commercial construction projects in the United States. The role involves planning, laying out, and fabricating pipe systems, and coordinating with supervision. Must follow drawings, specs, codes, and industry standards.

Candidates should be able to take direction from a foreman and other skilled workers, and be willing to perform related tasks as training and project needs require. Safety and quality are paramount.

Qualifications

• Must read drawings, specifications, safety and quality standards.
• Minimum 3–6+ years in the industrial/commercial pipefitting field; level I–Sr as applicable.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Share knowledge and teach others.
• Eliminate waste such as waiting, rework, transporting, material storage and time.
• High proficiency in related trade mathematics.
• Inspect subordinates' work for accuracy and compliance with plans; explain deficiencies and take corrective action.
• Look for opportunities for improvement and be willing to learn from others.
• Maintain positive working relationships with all crew members.
• Possess effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Produce high quality work safely and productively at all times.
• Provide feedback to ensure materials, tools, equipment and information are available for the work.
