Job summary

MasTec's Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group seeks a Pipefitter Helper III to support journeymen in Mountain Home, Idaho. You will assist with pipe planning, installation, testing and repair of systems per plans and codes, reading tools, and coordinating with crews on safety and quality.

This on-site role demands physical stamina, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime. Compensation is $30 per hour, with merit-based increases and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years related experience or training preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret measuring tools to perform tasks accurately.
• Thread, bevel, and cut pipe as required.
• Fit and install pipe and fittings using hand and power tools.
• Assist in installing valves and other fittings.
• Maintain safety and interact with installation crews daily.
• Follow directions from foreman and adapt to shifts.
