Job summary

Turner Industries is seeking a Pipefitter Helper for a position in Kingsport, TN. The role assists skilled workers with a wide range of duties and reports to the Foreman in a non-exempt capacity. Candidates should be prepared to work under project teams and follow established procedures and safety rules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably six (6) months of experience in specified skill.
• Post offer drug / alcohol screen, physical evaluation, and signed acceptance of the Turner Industries Drug, Alcohol and Contraband Policy
• Comply with company and client job site safety requirements
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others in the workplace

Responsibilities

• Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift.
• Digs, spreads and levels dirt and gravel; touch up paint.
• Move materials and assist with tools/equipment; crane operation if certified.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment; adapt as project progresses.
• Other assignments per supervisor's direction
