Job summary

Worley is seeking a Pipefitter Helper to assist the assigned crew on industrial construction sites. You will read blueprints, lay out parts, and help fabricate and assemble structural metal components under supervision.

The role requires safe work practices, physical stamina, and the ability to follow specifications. A minimum of 3 years in industrial construction/maintenance is expected, with readiness to perform varied helper duties to support project needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Ability to read blueprints and specifications.
• Physical ability to perform strenuous tasks and move materials.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specification to determine scope of work and material needs.
• Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products.
• Set up face block, jigs, and fixtures; locate and mark centerlines and reference points.
• Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps for welding or riveting.
• Perform additional duties as required by the crew.

Position Summary

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.

Primary Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials required
• Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products
• Set up face block, jigs, and fixtures
• Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares
• Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting
• Additional responsibilities not listed may be required

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years industrial construction/maintenance industry experience
