Job summary

Worley is seeking a Pipefitter Helper to support the作 assigned crew on industrial construction and fabrication projects in Texas. You will read blueprints to determine scope, lay out, align and fit structural metal parts, and help set up jigs and fixtures on site.

This entry-level role emphasizes safety and teamwork as you assist skilled tradespeople. Experience in industrial construction is preferred but not required, with opportunities to grow within Worley’s energy infrastructure projects.

• Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps in positions for welding or riveting

Position Summary

Responsible for executing helper duties to assist assigned crew.

Primary Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and specification to determine the scope of work: location, quantities, and sizes of materials required
• Lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of structural metal products
• Set up face block, jigs, and fixtures
• Locate and mark centerlines and reference points onto floor or face block and transpose them to work piece, using tape, chains, plumb bob, and squares
• Position or tighten braces, jacks, clamps, ropes, or bolt straps of bolt parts in positions for welding or riveting

Qualifications

• Entry Level
• Industrial construction/maintenance industry experience preferred
