Job summary

Sundt Construction in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced foreman to provide leadership, supervision, and coordination for pipe fitting and fabrication work. You will plan, schedule, and ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while directing craft crews and interfacing with foremen to keep the project on track.

The role requires at least four years of relevant experience, thorough knowledge of drawings (orthographic, isometric, P&IDs) and a proven record of safety and productivity excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of four years of experience in the relevant market and expert knowledge of drawings including orthographic, isometric, P&IDs, specifications, and safety and quality standards.
• Must set standards of excellence in leadership, safety and productivity for crew members.
• Must possess effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with other foremen and crews.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment and assure high quality work is performed.
• Conduct and/or participate in safety, quality, production, and planning meetings.
• Ensure evaluations/ performance agreements for crew members are conducted.
• Promote Continuous Improvement culture within the crew.
• Ensure accuracy of time sheets, quantity, and productivity reports.
• Develop weekly and daily work plans and manage the 6-week schedule.
• Set weekly production goals and execute work on time and under budget.
• Follow company policies and 'The Sundt Way' for supervised work and people.
• Provide coaching and mentoring to crew members.
