KODIAK Construction Recruiting & Staffing is sourcing Pipefitter Foremen for a mechanical contractor in Austin, TX. This field-based role requires hands-on piping expertise and proven crew leadership, with strong coordination with the Superintendent to deliver safe, quality installations.

We offer full-time work in the local Austin market, overtime eligibility, a $38.00-$44.00 hourly rate, and a $5,000-$8,000 sign-on bonus for qualified candidates who can lead field crews and manage piping

Qualifications

• 5+ years of pipefitting/foreman experience.
• Strong hands-on pipefitting knowledge.
• Ability to read construction drawings and piping layouts.
• Experience directing field crews.
• Strong field communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Coordinate with Superintendent and field personnel.
• Leadership to ensure safe, organized field operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily activities for pipefitting crews.
• Direct installation, assembly, layout, and completion of piping systems.
• Read and interpret drawings, plans, specs, and layouts.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, equipment with the Superintendent.
• Monitor field production and communicate schedule, material, installation, and manpower concerns.
• Provide clear work direction to pipefitters and maintain productivity.
• Reinforce jobsite safety procedures and safe work practices.
• Coordinate piping installation with other trades.
• Identify installation conflicts and communicate field issues to the Superintendent.
• Help ensure piping work meets project expectations for quality and completion.
