Job summary

TIC_Craft in the United States is seeking a skilled Pipefitter Craftsman 1 to layout, assemble, install, or maintain pipe systems in power plant and industrial settings.

You will read isometric drawings, measure and fabricate piping, weld and thread joints, install equipment, and hydro-test systems while following plans and safety rules. This role requires stamina for long shifts, ability to work at height, and readiness to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience as Pipefitter Craftsman 1 in a Power Plant / Industrial setting.
• Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate with supervision.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Read isometric drawings, take measurements, fabricate and install piping efficiently.
• Align, bolt, and clamp components of fabricated metal products to secure in position for welding.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings, and related equipment according to specifications by welding and threading joints.
• Position and secure materials and workpieces during installation; and install all other items in accordance with the applicable plans and specifications.
• Hydro test piping systems.
