Position Overview
Apache Workforce is seeking experienced Pipefitter/Boilermakers to join our team supporting TAS Energy. This position is responsible for the layout, fabrication, assembly, installation, and maintenance of industrial piping systems and structural components in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must have strong blueprint reading skills, experience working with carbon steel and stainless steel piping, and the ability to work safely while producing high-quality work.
Read and interpret blueprints, piping isometrics, and P&IDs (Pipe & Instrumentation Drawings).
Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair industrial piping systems.
Measure, cut, thread, bevel, and bend pipe using hand tools and powered equipment.
Assemble and install carbon steel and stainless steel pipe, tubing, valves, fittings, and supports.
Install hangers, brackets, and pipe support systems according to specifications.
Operate pipe threading, cutting, and bending equipment safely.
Perform basic MIG welding for pipe supports and fabrication when needed.
Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
Maintain material inventory and communicate supply needs.
Keep work areas clean while following 5S standards.
Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum 5 years of Pipefitter/Boilermaker experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial environment.
Ability to read blueprints, piping drawings, and technical schematics.
Knowledge of pipe schedules, pipe materials, and fabrication practices.
Experience using pipe fitting tools, measuring devices, and power tools.
Basic MIG welding experience preferred.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Basic math skills for measurements and layout.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Technical training or certification in Pipe Fitting or Boilermaking.
Experience with automated pipe cutting, threading, and bending equipment.
Forklift and overhead crane certification.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
Strong understanding of OSHA safety standards and industrial safe work practices.
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Stand, bend, kneel, and work on your feet for up to 10-hour shifts.
Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing facility.
Safety glasses required; hearing protection recommended.
$27.00–$33.00/hour DOE
