Job summary

Apache Workforce is seeking experienced Pipefitter/Boilermakers to join our team supporting TAS Energy in a Houston manufacturing environment. The role covers layout, fabrication, assembly, installation and maintenance of industrial piping systems and structural components, with emphasis on safety and high-quality workmanship.

Ideal candidates will read blueprints and P&IDs, work with carbon steel and stainless piping, and demonstrate strong math, measurement accuracy, and mechanical

Qualifications

• Read blueprints, piping isometrics, and P&IDs (Pipe & Instrumentation Drawings).
• Experience with carbon steel and stainless steel piping.
• Strong math and measurement skills for layouts and fabrication.
• Ability to read technical schematics and pipe schedules.
• English communication proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, piping isometrics, and P&IDs.
• Lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair piping systems.
• Measure, cut, thread, bevel, and bend pipe using hand tools and powered equipment.
• Assemble and install carbon steel and stainless steel pipe, tubing, valves, fittings, and supports.
• Install hangers, brackets, and pipe support systems according to specs.
• Operate pipe threading, cutting, and bending equipment safely.
• Perform basic MIG welding for pipe supports and fabrication when needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Maintain material inventory and communicate supply needs.
• Keep work areas clean while following 5S standards.
• Follow OSHA regulations and all company safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
