Polk Mechanical Company in the United States seeks a skilled Pipefitter to join our team. The role covers pipefitting, welding, and plumbing across residential, commercial, or industrial settings, with emphasis on safety and code compliance.

You will read blueprints, fabricate piping, perform welding (MIG/FCAW/TIG), install systems, and collaborate with crew on construction sites to deliver projects on time and to spec.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in pipefitting or related field such as construction or manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, and maintain piping systems for HVAC, plumbing, and fire sprinkler applications.
• Utilize various welding techniques including MIG, FCAW, TIG welding for pipe assembly and repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of piping systems.
• Perform pipe threading, tube bending, soldering, and rigging as required for installations.
• Conduct routine maintenance on existing piping systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other equipment safely and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with ASME codes & standards throughout all work processes.
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
