Job summary

Polk Mechanical Company is seeking a Pipefitter Apprentice to assist experienced pipefitters in the installation, assembly, and maintenance of piping systems while learning the trade. You will read blueprints, perform basic measurements, and support with cutting, threading, and fitting pipe under supervision, in a safety‑minded, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• No prior pipefitting experience required.
• Strong willingness to learn and develop technical skills.
• Basic mechanical aptitude preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Read and follow blueprints, drawings, and instructions.
• Perform basic measurements, material handling, and preparation tasks.
• Must comply with testing or screening requirements.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
