Job summary

Aerotek is seeking a Pipefitter for a Wilmington, DE project-based contract-to-hire role. You will interpret shop drawings, perform complex rigging, and install equipment with precision—anchoring, leveling, and aligning machinery on industrial construction sites.

The position requires reading isometric and P&ID diagrams, plus welding and mechanical skills. 3+ years of pipe fitting experience is preferred. On-site, day shifts with benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Job description

As a Pipefitter, you will be responsible for interpreting shop drawings and performing complex rigging tasks. This includes the precision installation of equipment, machinery, or components, ensuring proper anchoring, leveling, and aligning. A significant aspect of this role involves the ability to read and process information for construction or fabrication projects.

Pay: Up to $35/hour + Weekly Pay!

Shift: Day Shift

Responsibilities

• Experience in industrial construction and pipe fitting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with structural steel installation.
• Welding skills are advantageous.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilmington, DE.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
