Job summary

Epsilon Industries is seeking skilled welders to fit and weld piping systems. The role starts with a 90-day on-site training period at the Tuscaloosa, Alabama facility, with a per diem of $500 per week during training.

After training, the position remains fully on-site at the Oxford, Alabama site. Responsibilities include leading fabrication of spool assemblies, ensuring ASME/AWS compliance, and tracking progress per module schedule.

Job description

Wage: $30-36.72 per hour based upon Experience.
This is a fully on-site position. The employee will complete a minimum 90-day on-site training period at Epsilon Industries’ Tuscaloosa, Alabama facility and will receive a per diem of $500 per week during the training period.
Upon completion of training, the position will transfer to and remain fully on-site at Epsilon Industries’ Oxford, Alabama facility.

• Fit and weld piping systems to spec, sequence, and schedule.
• Oversee accurate layout, support install, and final spool readiness.
• Own the full spool lifecycle—material prep, fitting, welding, and QC readiness.
• Balance throughput and craftsmanship—your team reflects your standard.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead fabrication of spool assemblies and system piping.
• Ensure code compliance (ASME, AWS) and proper documentation.
• Track fitting/welding progress per module schedule.

Expectations:

• Ownership: Treat pipe scope as critical infrastructure—quality and function are non-negotiable.
• Execution: Balance speed and quality. Ensure joints are clean, spaced, and properly supported.
• Leadership: Train new fitters/welders and uphold discipline in work areas.
• Problem Solving: Flag design issues or missing BOM early and elevate quickly.
