What You Will Do

• Read drawings, take measurements, draw isometrics, and install piping efficiently.
• Understand blueprints.
• Bolt, clamp, and tack-weld parts to prepare for welding.
• Identify different metal types and thicknesses.
• Position and clamp components for welding.
• Handle pipe fittings, bolts, valves, etc.
• Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, and fittings according to specifications, welding and threading joints accurately.
• Handle rigging equipment manually.
• Weld small areas as per client requirements.
• Operate tools such as beveling machines, grinders, hammers, torches, drills, welding machines, and Saw-Zall.

Physical Demands

• Work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Lifting up to 60 lbs.
• Stand for long hours.
• Use arms, legs, climb, lift, balance, walk, stoop, crawl, twist, reach, and bend regularly.
• Work on elevated platforms with safety harnesses.
• Handle tools and objects manually.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 2 years of pipefitting experience.
• Ability to read blueprints (ISO, P&ID).

Other Requirements

• Willingness to travel and stay away from home.
• Work shifts up to 12 hours, 7 days a week.
• Meet all physical demands.
• Attend safety meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in gas plant construction.
• 3+ years of pipefitting experience.
• Leadership in safety practices.
• Basic welding knowledge.
