Job summary

Ferguson seeks a Warehouse Pipe Yard Associate to operate material handling equipment, pull and prepare orders, and stock incoming material. The role uses WMS and RF devices daily and requires knowledge of PVF. The candidate will work outdoors in all weather with attention to safety and a strong work ethic.

Schedule is Monday–Friday, 11:00pm–7:30am or until work completion. A $500 sign-on bonus is paid after 90 days. Must pass pre-employment screenings and maintain PPE compliance.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of warehouse/pipe yard experience required.
• General computer skills for basic data entry.
• Forklift operator experience required.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs by hand and 50+ lbs with equipment.
• Positive demeanor, dependability, and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy motorized material handling equipment safely.
• Pull and prepare orders for shipment accurately.
• Receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material.
• Put items away and receive them in the WMS.
• Knowledge of PVF (pipes, valves, fittings, cutting, threading, grooving) preferred.
• Maintain clean, safe workspace and follow PPE guidelines.
• Use RF devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
